1) As Tuolumne County grows, it will need a range of additional homes — approximately 14,000 by the year 2020, according to the 2000 Census Bureau. Mountains Springs will provide approximately 6% of the County’s future housing. Do you feel the diversity of housing proposed in the Mountain Springs revisions will adequately address a portion of the County’s future needs for housing?

2) Further refinements to the revised Mountain SpringsŐ plan proposes 897 homes, which is less than one home per gross acre, and includes 780 market rate homes with an additional 117 homes (15%) added for a moderate level of affordable housing. This 5% increase in affordable housing is based on input from the community over the past two months. What are your thoughts on the increased level of affordable housing?


3) Based on what you learned today, do you feel the Village Center, as one of the Mountain Springs Community’s focal points, is a desirable feature?
