Community Plan expands the County’s inventory of land suitable for residential development and increases the selection of new housing opportunities in compliance with the County’s General Plan adopted in 1996. Based on the County growth projections from 2000 to 2004 the Community Plan will address approximately 4% of the Counties future growth needs. Table 5-1 provides a summary of the residential zoning and permitted housing type, net acres and public services.
